VALENCIAN regional president Francisco Camps and PP regional secretary Ricardo Costa have been summoned by the Valencian Supreme Court (TSJCV) to deliver statements as accused parties in the Gürtel case.

The Gürtel scandal involves several top PP members in Madrid and Valencia.

Sr Camps and Sr Costa have repeatedly proclaimed their innocence regarding the scandal led by Francisco Correa and event promotion companies such as Orange Market, represented in Valencia by Alvaro Pérez ‘El Bigotes'.

Accusations against the region president include expensive tailor-made suits paid for by Orange Market and affiliate companies.

Both will have to stand before the court on Tuesday, May 19.
